Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern coaching services provided by Henry Williams trading as Henry Williams Coaching, ABN not displayed, 65 Hill Street, Mount Rumney TAS 7170 ("we", "us"). By booking or attending a coaching session, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide career coaching services including interview preparation, CV review, LinkedIn optimisation, and salary negotiation coaching. Sessions are conducted via video call unless otherwise agreed.

Coaching is distinct from therapy, counselling, legal advice, financial planning, and medical advice. If you require those services, we will refer you to appropriate professionals.

2. Pricing and GST

• Single session: A$295 incl. GST
• 5-session programme: A$1,180 incl. GST (A$236 per session)
• 8-session extended programme: A$2,480 incl. GST

All prices include GST where applicable. Payment is due before the first session of a programme, or at the time of booking for single sessions. We accept bank transfer and major credit cards.

3. Cancellation and rescheduling

Single sessions: Full refund if cancelled with at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations within 48 hours of the session time forfeit the session fee, unless exceptional circumstances apply (medical emergency, bereavement) — contact us promptly if this occurs.

Programme packages: Sessions unused at the time of cancellation are refunded at the per-session rate less an administration fee of A$55. Programmes expire 12 months from the first session unless otherwise agreed.

Rescheduling: You may reschedule without charge with at least 24 hours notice. Repeated same-day reschedules (more than twice) may be treated as cancellations at our discretion.

These terms are consistent with the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer guarantee rights you may have under the ACL.

4. Coaching relationship

Coaching is a confidential relationship. Information shared in sessions is not disclosed to third parties without your consent, except where required by law. You are responsible for actions you take as a result of coaching; we provide a thinking and preparation service, not a guarantee of outcomes.

5. About results

No coach can guarantee an offer, a promotion, or a specific salary increase. What coaching can do is sharpen preparation, decision-making and communication — measurable things — within a process you and the coach control together. Career outcomes depend on a chain of events — employer decisions, market conditions, timing — that extend beyond the coaching relationship.

6. Intellectual property

Materials provided during coaching (frameworks, worksheets, written feedback) are for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared commercially, or distributed without written permission.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by the ACL, our liability for any claim arising from coaching services is limited to the amount you have paid for the specific service to which the claim relates. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tasmania.
